Return

I am now returning to this blog after about 9 years away. In the meantime I had established a web site (with blog), now abandoned - so I am back. It is now Thanksgiving Day, 2018. Tomorrow the ski area will open, a very limited start with only the Basin Express chair operational. It will serve up only man made snow, although the snow god is poised for a few days of precipitation to provide more of the natural stuff through Saturday morning. At this point, our kayaks are stored for the winter. Our skis are mostly ready, both alpine and Nordic. Our ski schedule will keep us at home, other than my taking a few weeks in March to visit relatives in Austria's Tirol (older daughter, two granddaughters, two great granddaughters, and one great grandson). I hope to spend some time skiing in the Kitzbühel area. Eli may visit her grandsons in New Mexico in January. Also during the season we'll have ski season visitors, to be announced as their arrivals become imminent. Richard 2018.11.22
